Had a great time. I liked checking out the bands and it was a good day to be outside drinking beer with friends. The only bad thing I can say is...not enough Lamb of God.
I know they had to share the main stage with the two headliners -- Zombie and Korn. But, one set was a tease and from what I heard and saw there were many others who agreed.
While Zombie was on there was a long line waiting to meet Blythe and while Korn was playing the real Headbanger crowd was walking to their cars to beat the traffic. The good news is Lamb of God knew their fans were there. In Your Words, Redneck, Black Label, Now You’ve Got Something to Die For, Walk with Me in Hell, Set to Fail…they really made the most out of the time they were given to perform. And, their performance in Hartford was outstanding.
Highlight of the night:
I bought a kids Lamb of God t-shirt for my son. So, when I approached the table and asked Blythe to sign it he looked up at me and said, “That’s not going to fit you! Who’s it for?” He signed the shirt to my two year old son…it’s his first Metal shirt! What a way to get started. Thanks Randy.
