apparently, this subforum is now mine. Laughing

anyway, I've been meaning to test something. Ran the Slave Out of the IV into Revalver....so I only send the raw preamp signal to Revalver, and then used the cabinet sims (impulses) on it.

The results were good. It's really amazing how close it sounds to the "Recto" in Revalver. How they simulate preamps and stuff is beyond me.

something strange, though: I was somehow picking up a tiny bit of bleed from the drums through the amps signal and it is noticable upon a SOLO playback. kinda weird. maybe it was registering in my pickups? never had that happen before aside from having a mic in the room.

don't you record into the 1/8" input on a stock soundcard?

if so, that could very well be the source of your bleed...
